Short Title:
An Act amending Titles 74 (Transportation) and 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for allocation of additional dedicated funding to public transportation systems; establishing the Service Stabilization and State of Good Repair Account; creating a service stabilization and state of good repair program; providing for distribution of supplemental funding; further providing for use of funds distributed; providing for establishment of new formulas for public transportation funding in small urbanized areas and rural areas and for community transit; providing for public transportation efforts to raise revenue by alternative means and for cooperative procurement; deleting provisions relating to personnel matters; further providing for collection and disposition of fees and moneys, for certificate of title, for information concerning drivers and vehicles and for certificate of safety inspection; and providing for study by Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
