Short Title:
An Act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, adding telephone utilities to the list of utility types that, absent an emergency, may not discontinue service on any Friday, Saturday, Sunday, holiday or day preceding a holiday and may not discontinue service absent personal contact with the customer at least three days prior to disconnection.
