Short Title:

An Act amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for a compensation system for persons injured in motor vehicle accidents; requiring insurance for all motor vehicles required to be registered in Pennsylvania; defining compensable damage in motor vehicle accident cases; establishing an assigned claims plan; providing for arbitration; imposing powers and duties on courts, the Department of Transportation and the Insurance Commissioner; prohibiting certain discrimination; and providing penalties.
