An Act amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, adding provisions relating to the valuation and assessment of real property subject to local taxation; imposing duties on the State Tax Equalization Board; requiring certification of chief assessors and assessors; creating a Board of Assessment Appeals and a Board of Revision of Taxes; prescribing penalties; and making repeals.
