Subject: Resolution designating Respiratory Care Week from October 21 through 27, 2018
 
I am introducing a resolution designating October 21 - October 27, 2018 as "Respiratory Care Week" in Pennsylvania.

The week will be observed nationwide as "National Respiratory Care Week" to celebrate the contributions respiratory therapists make to our nation's health care system. Respiratory therapists assist patients with health needs from diagnostic procedures to ventilators.

I ask you to join me in recognizing these important people who provide quality care and lifesaving measures to patients throughout the Commonwealth.
