Subject:	October as Polish American Heritage Month

In the near future, I will introduce a resolution designating the month of October 2017 as “Polish American Heritage Month” in Pennsylvania. This year marks the 408th Anniversary of Polish settlers arriving to the United States of America. Since 1608, people of Polish heritage have contributed greatly to global achievement and advancement of the United States and Pennsylvania. This year, Polonia (modern Poland) marks the 1050th anniversary of the Documented History of Poland (966 to 2017). Please join me in celebrating Polish Heritage Month in PA by sponsoring this resolution.
