Subject: State Ethics Commission Filing Updates
 
Please join me in co-sponsoring legislation amending Title 65 (Public Officers) to:
  • Require statewide officials and members of the General Assembly to electronically file financial interest statements with the Ethics Commission.
  • Require the Ethics Commission to improve the current website by creating a database making financial interest statements searchable and sortable by name, office held, year and if amended.
  • Require the Ethics Commission to create an email system to provide notification when new or amended statements are posted.
This bill was introduced last session as Senate Bill 306 and was co-sponsored by Senators Vogel, Ward, Fontana, Blake, Vulakovich, Rafferty, Aument, Schwank, Folmer, Yudichak and Browne.
