Subject: Human Trafficking Awareness Month
 
In the near future I will be introducing a resolution recognizing January as National Human Trafficking Awareness Month in Pennsylvania.

Human trafficking is a pervasive worldwide problem that thrives in Pennsylvania. People are being trafficked for labor and sex every day. Victims of human trafficking are subjected to violence and psychological manipulation until they develop loyalty to their traffickers. This resolution will help to raise awareness and celebrate those who are fighting to stop human trafficking.
