Subject: Professional Social Work Month
 
I will be introducing a resolution for unanimous consent today recognizing March as "Professional Social Work Month" in Pennsylvania.
Social workers help meet the basic needs of all people, and especialy the most vulnerable, at every stage of life. They provide support to our veterans and their families and access to mental health and health care treatments that comfort and strengthen our ill neighbors and their families. They care for young and old with the dignity, care and concern that defines the character and quality of our communities and society.
I hope you will join me in recognizing them.
