Subject: | Resolution Recognizing July 24th As “International Self-Care Day” |
In the near future I intend to introduce a resolution recognizing July 24th as “International Self-Care Day.” Self-Care is a practice that requires healthy lifestyle choices, good hygiene, avoiding unhealthy behaviors, knowing when to seek the attention of a medical professional, and monitoring the signs and symptoms of one’s health. Moreover, proper self-care enhances the quality of an individual’s health, improves energy levels, and helps maintain overall mental and physical health. This resolution is aimed at encouraging healthy behavior and the overall well-being of individuals across the Commonwealth and the country. Furthermore, it is essential that the Pennsylvania General Assembly promotes self-care and encourages the improvement of personal health. Please join me in encouraging self-care by co-sponsoring this resolution. |
