MEMORANDUM

Posted: February 10, 2014 02:35 PM
From: Senator Michael J. Stack
To: All Senate members
Subject: Resolution - Urging Congress to pass H.R. 318 (authorizing construction of a Wall of Remembrance)

In the near future, I am introducing a resolution urging Congress of the United States to pass H.R. 318, a bill authorizing the construction of a Wall of Remembrance as part of the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.

As a result of this war, the United States military suffered more than 100,000 casualties, including: 23, 613 killed in combat, 2,460 that died of wounds in combat, 4,817 missing in action and 2,849 captured and presumed dead.

Please join me in urging Congress to support soldiers who fought and died to protect the people of the Republic of Korea.

Introduced as SR301
