MEMORANDUM

Posted: January 9, 2014 03:05 PM
From: Senator Daylin Leach
To: All Senate members
Subject: Human Trafficking Awareness Day Resolution

In the near future I will be introducing a resolution recognizing January 11th as National Human Trafficking Awareness Day in Pennsylvania.

Human trafficking is a pervasive, worldwide problem that is aided by the ignorance of the public to its existence, its growth and the damage it causes. People are being trafficked for labor and sex every day and it should be the goal of Pennsylvania to help eliminate this problem. This resolution will help raise awareness and celebrate those who are fighting to stop human trafficking.

Introduced as SR283
