Subject: PA Catholic Health Association 50th Anniversary
 
In the very near future, I will be introducing legislation recognizing the 50th Anniversary of the Pennsylvania Catholic Health Association and its service to the Church, its health care ministry and the Commonwealth.

Over 3 million Pennsylvanians are assisted at Catholic hospitals each year, and hundreds of thousands more are helped at homes for the aged, health care centers, social service centers and other facilities. For more than 165 years, Catholic health care in Pennsylvania has played a vital role in caring for our citizens and ministering to the poor and vulnerable.
