Subject: Constitution Week Resolution
 
On September 25, 2013, I plan to introduce a resolution observing this week, Sept. 17 - 23, 2013 as "Constitution Week" in Pennsylvania and commending the National Pike Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for its patriotic support.

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in Washington D.C. in 1890 and chartered by Congress in 1896. The society is comprised of women directly descended from the individuals who aided in establishing American independence. The organization strives to promote historic preservation, patriotic endeavors, and education.
