Subject: Marine Corps Day in Pennsylvania
 
In the very near future, I will be introducing a Resolution recognizing November 10, 2013 as “Marine Corps Day” in Pennsylvania in honor of the United States Marine Corps’ 238th anniversary of its founding.

There are roughly 202,000 soldiers enlisted in the Marine Corps and roughly 40,000 reserve members. I think it is important that we recognize the Marine Corps’ anniversary to honor this fine branch of our military and give respect to those Marines who put their lives on the line to keep this country safe.
