Subject: Resolution Congratulating the Whitehall Public Library on its 50th Anniversary
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution congratulating the Whitehall Public Library on the 50th Anniversary of its founding.

The Whitehall Public Library is an integral and treasured part of the Whitehall community. Throughout its 50 year history, the library has been dedicated to public service and its dedication continues to this day. As reflected in its mission statement, the library serves as the “community resource for education, exploration, enrichment and enjoyment”.

The library will be honoring its past and looking forward to its bright future at its 50th anniversary celebration on May 5th, 2013. Please join me in honoring this wonderful public asset, and congratulating the Whitehall Public Library on its 50th anniversary by signing on as a co-sponsor of this resolution.
