Subject: Co Sponsorship: National Library Week Resolution
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the week of April 14 through 20, 2013, as “National Library Week” in Pennsylvania.

The American Library Association first sponsored National Library Week in 1958 and each year thereafter, libraries across the country celebrate this occasion every April. This week commemorates the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers throughout the United States.

I hope you’ll please join me in celebrating the role libraries across the country have played in the lives of individuals and families.
