Subject: Philadelphia Tax Installment Agreements
 
In the near future, I plan on introducing a bill that would provide residents of Philadelphia some flexibility in their tax payments. This is a companion bill to a House Bill 391.

Once the AVI is fully implemented, some Philadelphia homeowners will see a dramatic increase in their property taxes. This bill will would permit all Philadelphia property owners to pay their property taxes in installments. In addition, it will give the City the authority to determine the frequency and eligibility for an installment payment.
