Subject: Dangerous Weapon definition
 
I plan to re-introduce Senate Bill 410 from last session which amends the definition of a dangerous weapon in a court facility under Title 18. The co-sponsors of Senate Bill 410 were Senators Brewster, Costa, Erickson, Fontana, Rafferty, Tartaglione, Yudichak and Farnese.

This change would add any knife, cutting instrument, cutting tool, nunchaku and any other tool, instrument or implement capable of causing serious bodily injury to the definition of dangerous weapon, and is in response to incidents which have occurred at the Pike County courthouse.
