Subject: Condolence resolution for the passing of baseball great, Stan Musial
 
TIMELY REQUEST.

This Wednesday, January 30, 2012, I will be offering a condolence resolution for baseball great, Stan "the Man" Musial. Stan Musial was born in my district (Donora PA) and went on to have a stellar career in Major League Baseball.

Besides his career in Major League Baseball, Stan "the Man" Musial also served in the US Navy and in 2011 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama.

Sadly, Musial passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the age of 92.
