Subject: Summer Youth Employment Program (PA Works)
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that creates a youth summer employment program. This program provides employment opportunities at state and local parks as well as recreation facilities similar to that of the Pennsylvania Conservation Corps, which was eliminated. The program will be administered through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and supported by a monetary transfer from the Oil and Gas Lease fund.

This legislation is a part of the PA Works legislative package.
