Subject: Successor Business Liability Act
 
Please join me in co-sponsoring legislation creating the Successor Business Liability Act. The intent of the legislation is to clarify the liability status of companies who obtained a business and faced asbestos related claims from the actions of the previous owner. This legislation is intended to expand the protections already granted under Title 15 sections 1929.1.
