Subject: Lighting on Bicycles
 
A constituent has brought to my attention that visibility for bicycles is lacking in some areas with heavy traffic.

This legislation would allow a local authority, by ordinance, to require certain lighting requirements to bicyclists. This will not only enhance the bicyclist but will also provide safer conditions to both the cyclist, pedestrian, and vehicle driver.
