MEMORANDUM

To: All House members
Subject: Recognizing the State Championship Imhotep Boys’ Basketball Team

In the near future, we plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the Imhotep Boys’ basketball team on their recent PIAA Class 4A State Championship win.

Garnering the attention of sports fans from across the state and nation, the Imhotep Boys’ basketball team captured their second consecutive win when they took the state championship in Hershey, Pennsylvania on March 26, 2018. This marks the second consecutive win for a team whose past accomplishments now include a total of six PIAA championships.

Coach Andre Noble and his staff, through their ongoing toil and devotion, have fostered a spirit of self-sacrifice towards achieving excellence in these young men. Giving up their time to master a sport they love, these students learn not only respect for their sport, but for their fellow citizens. Valuable lessons such as these change lives.

I hope you will join us in applauding the dedication and sportsmanship displayed by these fine young athletes. They deserve to be recognized for their many accomplishments and for the outstanding example they have set for the citizens of this Commonwealth.
