Subject: | Resolution: Junior Achievement Month (May 2018) |
In the near future, I plan on introducing a Resolution to recognize May 2018 as Junior Achievement month in Pennsylvania. Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce development, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. More than 6,000 business, community and parent volunteers touch the lives of more than 200,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12 in public and private school systems in this Commonwealth with a message of hope and prosperity for the future; and preparing them to be the workers, leaders and educated consumers of tomorrow. Please join me in honoring the work done by our local Junior Achievement chapters. Thank you! Prior Co-sponsors (HR93 of 2017): READSHAW, D. COSTA, DEASY, LONGIETTI, KULIK, WHEATLEY, MARSHALL, DiGIROLAMO, FREEMAN, HENNESSEY, MACKENZIE, TOOHIL, CALTAGIRONE, SACCONE, STAATS, O'BRIEN, KINSEY, MILLARD, BOBACK, RYAN, O'NEILL, MURT, McNEILL, SCHLEGEL CULVER, MENTZER, CHARLTON, BIZZARRO, HICKERNELL, NEILSON, SONNEY, DUSH, GILLESPIE, GABLER, V.
