Subject: Cardiac Rehabilitation Week -- February 11 - 17, 2018
 
In the near future, I will be sponsoring a resolution designating the week of February 11 through 17, 2018, as “Cardiac Rehabilitation Week” in Pennsylvania.

Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in our nation and in our State. The goal of cardiac rehabilitation is to help heart disease patients learn to minimize the risk factors which increase the chance of future health issues.

Please join me in sponsoring this resolution recognizing the dedicated professionals who promote the dissemination of information about coronary heart disease, its prevention and rehabilitation.
