Subject: Special Election Primary
 
In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation that will provide the same primary election provisions to the special election code.

By doing this, this legislation will effectively turn the nomination process back over to the people in order to secure the nominee they desire. In addition, this legislation will provide a provision to the special election code that will set a time limit of 60 days, as to when a vacancy must be filled.
