Subject: Condolence Resolution for Trooper Landon Weaver -- Pennsylvania State Police
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a condolence resolution honoring Trooper Landon E. Weaver of Troop G, Huntingdon Barracks, who was killed in the line of duty on December 30, 2016, in Juniata Township, Huntingdon County.

Landon grew up in rural Blair County in Martinsburg and graduated in 2012 from Central High School in Martinsburg. After high school, he was a dean’s list student in criminology and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the State Police Academy in 2015 and married his wife, Macy, in June of 2016.

On December 30, 2016, while investigating a protection from abuse order, Trooper Weaver was killed in the line of duty.

He is survived by his wife, Macy; parents, Christine and Eric Weaver; and brother, Larett.
