Subject: Recognizing January 2017 as National Mentoring Month
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution recognizing January 2017 as National Mentoring Month.

Celebrating National Mentoring Month is a way to thank thousands of men, women and teens who serve as mentors for children throughout the Commonwealth. By their dedication, mentors help children achieve greater educational success, higher aspirations and greater self-confidence. They truly help change lives for the better.

I welcome you to join me in celebrating the dedication of our mentors throughout the Commonwealth by cosponsoring this resolution.
