Subject: October 2016 as National Disability Employment Awareness Month
 
I am preparing to introduce a resolution designating October 2016 as National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). NDEAM is observed in October of each year, and is a nationwide campaign that raises awareness about disability employment issues and honors the many contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. The theme for this year, which marks 71 years since its first observance, is “#InclusionWorks”.

I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this important resolution.
