Subject: Bridge Designation -- Sgt. John F. Bridges Memorial Bridge
 

I will soon be introducing legislation to designate a bridge in my legislative district as the Sgt. John F. Bridges Memorial Bridge. The bridge is located on State Route 4027 in Snyder Township, Blair County, and runs over the Norfolk Southern Railway.

John F. Bridges was a native of Blair County and a sergeant in the United States Army as a member of the 778th Tank Battalion. Sergeant Bridges made the ultimate sacrifice for his country when he was killed in action in Germany on March 7, 1945.

Please join me in honoring Sgt. John F. Bridges by becoming a co-sponsor of this legislation.
