Subject: Resolution: ASSET STEM Education program
 
Upon our return, I will be introducing a Resolution honoring ASSET STEM Education, a national education improvement nonprofit, headquartered in my district, for completing a five-year U.S. Department of Education Investing in Innovation: Validation Grant program. Through this advanced professional development program, ASSET improved teacher effectiveness and, in turn, increased student achievement in 4th-grade science as well as 3rd- and 4th-grade math.

Please join me in congratulating the teachers and students involved in this program.
