Subject: Mental Health Procedures Act Consolidation
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation consolidating the mental health procedures act into Title 50 of the consolidated statutes.

This has not been done since the law was enacted dating back to 1976. This legislation will also modernize the term “mental retardation” to “intellectual disability” whenever it appears in the mental health procedures act.
