Subject: Syrian Refugee Resolution
 
There are currently resolutions being circulated regarding the refugee crisis in Pennsylvania. I support all of those resolutions. I am currently drafting a resolution that may actually have the results of requiring the federal government to examine more closely the impact of refugee placement in Pennsylvania. Is it my understanding that a mere request of economic impact/cost analysis would require the federal government to do so. Therefore, I will be introducing a resolution where the House of Representatives would request this analysis on behalf of all municipalities in the Commonwealth before settlement of refugees. I would appreciate your consideration in joining me a co-sponsor to this resolution.
