Subject: October 2015 “Crime Prevention Month” in Pennsylvania
 
The National Crime Prevention Council was founded in 1982 to manage the National Citizens’ Crime Prevention Campaign and McGruff the Crime Dog and to administer the Crime Prevention Coalition of America. The modern mission of the National Crime Prevention Council is to help people keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe from crime through various programs.

Therefore, in the near future, I will be introducing a resolution designating the month of October 2015 as “Crime Prevention Month” in Pennsylvania.
