Subject: Mandating PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Service Centers to Accept Debit and Credit Card Payments.
 
In the near future, I will introduce legislation mandating PennDOT driver licensing and vehicle service centers to accept debit cards and credit cards as an additional form of payment. These centers currently only accept checks and money orders.

Virtually all products and services that are purchased in our 21st century economy can be completed by using a debit card or credit card. It is a great inconvenience to only accept checks and money orders.

I would greatly appreciate your co-sponsorship of this legislation.
