Subject: Pain Awareness Month - September 2015
 
In the near future I intend to introduce a resolution designating September 2015 as “Pain Awareness Month” in Pennsylvania.

This resolution will recognize the over 100 million Americans including many children who live with a form of chronic pain on a daily basis. Chronic pain is a real and complex disease that may exist by itself or be linked with other medical conditions.

I welcome your co-sponsorship to raise awareness of this complex disease.
