Subject: Stand with Israel Act
 
In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation that will permit the Commonwealth to withhold funding of any kind to an institution of higher education that engages in a boycott against or divestment from Israel.

Across the Commonwealth, pro-Palestinian student organizations on college campuses are advocating for boycotting, divesting, and sanctioning against the State of Israel.

The Commonwealth should be permitted to withhold funding from any institution of higher education that permits, endorses, or defends activities that undermine the long-standing relationship that the United States and this Commonwealth is privileged to have with the State of Israel.
