Subject: Joseph V. Paterno Memorial Bridge
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation to honor the football career of Joe Paterno.

The Bill will designate the Susquehanna River Bridge, which carries Interstate 76 from York County to Dauphin County, as the Joseph V. Paterno Memorial Bridge.

Joseph Vincent Paterno, commonly known as “JoePa”, was famous for being the head coach for 44 seasons of the Penn State Nittany Lions. Mr. Paterno holds an official NCAA total of 18 Bowl victories and 37 Bowl appearances. His official career record is 409 wins, 136 losses and 3 ties.
