Subject: National Hosptial Week Resolution
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution recognizing the week of May 10-16, 2015, as “National Hospital Week” in Pennsylvania.

Hospitals play a vital role in delivering health care service to all people of this Commonwealth. Hospitals provide many services to their communities and are a key element in Pennsylvania’s economy. Whether it’s acute inpatient care, outpatient, emergency, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and more, our hospitals in Pennsylvania serve a vital mission.

This year’s National Hospital Week theme is “Where Healing Happens Every Day.”

Please consider joining me in celebrating the contributions of hospitals and their employees by designating the week of May 10 through 16, 2015, as "National Hospital Week" in this Commonwealth.
