Subject: Resolution Renaming State Route 3145 Over Interstate 376 –Roy F. Johns, Jr. Overpass (Robinson Township, Allegheny County)
 
In the near future, I will introduce a Resolution to designate the overpass on State Route 3145 over Interstate 376, in the Market District at Settlers Ridge, as the Roy F. Johns, Jr. Overpass. (Robinson Township, Allegheny County)

Mr. Johns passed away last year at the age of 80. He was the chief executive officer of the Coraopolis-based engineering consulting firm, Roy F. Johns, Jr., Associates. He was a master planner and developer of notable commercial, industrial and residential sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania and along Parkway West.

Mr. Johns and his wife, Barbara, enriched the Greater Pittsburgh Area by founding the Roy F. Johns, Jr. Family Foundation.
