MEMORANDUM

Posted: April 7, 2015 02:49 PM
From: Representative John Taylor
To: All House members
Subject: Repeal of April 2, 1963 Act Authorizing the Department of Highways, with Approval of the Governor, to Erect and Maintain a Toll Bridge over the Kiskiminetas River

In the near future, I will introduce legislation which repeals an archaic law from April 2, 1963 (former HB 2369 of 2013-2014).

The current law allows the Department of Highways, with approval of the Governor, to construct a highway and to erect and maintain a bridge over the Kiskiminetas River in Westmoreland & Armstrong Counties.

This legislation would repeal this entire law and PennDOT has stated that it is in full support of repeal.

Thank you for your consideration.

Introduced as HB1078
