The American Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) designated April 8, 2015 as National Dog Fighting Awareness Day to advance the conversation about dog fighting and to encourage animal lovers across the Country to take action against this brutal form of animal cruelty. Dog fighting occurs in every part of the Country and in every type of community.
