Subject: | Co-sponsorship Condolence Resolution – Honoring the life and service of Officer Robert Wilson III |
In the near future, we plan to introduce a resolution honoring the life and service of Officer Robert Wilson, resident of Philadelphia. Officer Wilson’s life was taken on March 5, 2015 to senseless crimes of violence. He served as an officer in the 22nd District Philadelphia Police Department. Wilson served on the police force for 8 years, and believed in building trust between the community and police. As an example of “truly a brave hero who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us,” Officer Robert Wilson III was devoted to his faith, family, and community. He is the father of two children, Quahmier, 10, and Robert IV, 1. His life was taken while he was going to purchase a video game for his son as a reward for good grades. A testimony to him as a father, man, and a hero to his sons, we extend our deepest condolences to his family especially his two sons. Join us in honoring the life and service of a man who was committed to bettering the community for all. |
