Subject: Resolution – Amend PA Constitution – School Property Taxes
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a joint resolution as part of a package of legislation to address school property tax reform. The resolution will make a necessary constitutional change in order to allow the General Assembly to address residential school property taxes without impacting property taxes paid by commercial properties.

Under the constitution currently, all properties must be treated the same regardless of whether they are commercial or residential properties.
