Subject: 10 Day Notice of Price on Home Heating Fuel Prior - HB1083
 

In the near future, I intend to re-introduce legislation amending the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law to require disclosure of an increase in the price of heating fuel that a customer on automatic delivery 10-days prior to the next scheduled delivery. This legislation was previously introduced as HB 1083(2013-2014) and will provide advanced notice of price increases to automatic delivery heating fuel customers so that they may better manage their heating usage and expenses.
