Subject: Budget Impasse Legislation
 
In the near future, I plan on re-introducing legislation that would trigger a forfeiture of compensation for all Members of the General Assembly for that period each year during which a budget has not been enacted after June 30th.

This bill would help us avoid budget impasses like the one we experienced during the 2009-10 Fiscal Year.
