Subject: | Gaming Control Board and Executive Branch Appointments |
In the near future, I plan to re-introduce legislation amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. Specifically, this legislation would place restrictions on the appointment of legislators and Executive-level public employees to the Gaming Control Board. It will establish that no member of the Senate, House of Representatives or an Executive-level public employee shall be eligible for appointment as a member of the Gaming Control Board during the term of office for which the person was elected/employed and for a period of twelve months thereafter. If you have any questions regarding this legislation, please contact Elana Maynard at 705-2004 or via email at emaynard@pahousegop.com.
