Subject: 200th Anniversary of the Borough of Stroudsburg
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Borough of Stroudsburg. Stroudsburg was founded by Jacob Stroud and incorporated on February 6, 1815. It is the county seat of Monroe County in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. The Borough hosts the annual Stroudfest on September 5th and will mark the 200th anniversary with the burying of a time capsule, concerts and fireworks. I ask that you join me in co-sponsoring this resolution commemorating this momentous occasion.
