Subject: PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR RESEARCH MONTH
 
In the next several days, I will be introducing a resolution designating November, 2014, as Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Month.

The most common form of childhood brain tumors is pediatric low-grade astrocytoma (PLGA), a slow growing, and potentially fatal tumor.

Making the public aware of this issue will hopefully spur more funding for research.
